Instructor Certification
Are you interested in becoming a Minnesota permit to carry instructor? Pro Carry USA is authorized by the MN BCA to train permit to carry instructors. If you have a desire to enable other law abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families, and you see the need of giving responsible adults the defensive tools to exercise their constitutional rights and to care for their loved ones, we would be happy to train you as a Minnesota permit to carry instructor.
We require the following before you apply:
- Some experience with teaching.
- Good familiarity with and knowledge of handguns.
- Demonstration of a safe attitude towards firearms.
Some formal handgun training, which could include either an NRA course, such as NRA Basic Pistol which we offer or other equivalent.
Our instructors must go through our MN Permit to Carry Course and additionally a few hours of training to establish the basics of record keeping and preparing and planning a lesson.
